What happens after the estimate?
Once you review the estimate and you approve of the estimate simply sign. If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to contact us It’s important to us that everything is transparent and understood from the beginning so that we lay a solid foundation for a great working relationship.
What will you do to keep my property clean?
While masonry repairs can be messy business, we try to keep things as neat as possible during our work, and always perform a thorough cleanup daily and when finished.
Do you carry insurance?
Yes, We carry insurance and can provide proof .
Do I need to provide anything for you?
We require electricity and access to water in order to do our work. Please let us know ahead of time if these things will not be available.
Do I need to be home while you work on my project?
We do prefer to go over the work with our clients before we get started and just prior to completion to ensure customer satisfaction, however you are not required to be present while we are working on your home.
How long will my masonry repair project take?
The average job takes 1-2 days. Depending on the scope of work, the time frame may be greater.
I have heard of masons starting jobs and then leaving them for days on end, is this common practice?
It shouldn’t be, and here at A and X Masonry it isn’t. Once we have started a job we apply our full attention until it’s complete.
What methods of payment do you accept?
We accept cash, check, and credit card payments are accepted with a 3% processing fee .
Can you match the brick that is used on my house?
When repairing damaged areas, we try our best to find a perfect match to the bricks that already exist on your home. There are certain bricks that are very common, and are still in use today. Unfortunately, many bricks go out of style, and manufacturers stop making them. In these cases, we try our best to find the best match, keeping shape, size, colour, and texture in mind.
Do you match mortar to my home?
Yes, we excel at this we are mortar color matching specialists, so any repair work will blend seamlessly with the original masonry.
How can I be sure that A and X Masonry., will complete the project as it was agreed upon while keeping the standard of quality high?
You will have myself Alonzo the owner who is always available to answer any questions or concerns as the project progresses. my job is to inform you and react to any reasonable request during the project. Many customers who don’t have this open communication with the contractor feel uncomfortable and sometimes feel they are not getting the value as a result.
How do I get started?
By simply giving us a call or filling out the online form to schedule your free estimate once we schedule the estimate and go over the scope of work we will provide a estimate with in 24 hrs once you approve the estimate we will contact you with scheduling and start the contract drafting.
When can you start my project?
Typically between 2-5 days depending on the work schedule, A and X Masonry only takes on 2-3 projects in a work week to provide quality and attention to detail.
We cannot add your project to the schedule until you have reviewed and approved the proposal.Once we have received your approval, we’ll begin sourcing any special materials, such as matching bricks that may be needed to complete your projects.
